Clara was graduated from The Chinese University of HK and obtained a Master degree in Business Administration upon completion of the Executive MBA program provided by the same university in 1999. Clara is also awarded the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) by the University of London.
As the founder of Humansonic Consulting, Clara has a keen interest in serving business corporations for the enhancement of their competitive edge in the ever-changing market. By providing talent search as well as human resources outsourcing and consulting services, Clara and her associates aim at delivering to the organizations the most effective deployment and development of human resources in the work place.
Clara is a seasoned human resources practitioner who has gained extensive human resources management experience for over 15 years. Her professional expertise includes HR planning, staffing and selection, performance management as well as training & talent development. Clara is well regarded for her strategic insights and strong business orientation in the integration of human resources solutions with organizational goals.
Prior to engaging in the consulting business, Clara was the in-house human resources leader of GE Plastics’ 1 business operation in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. As the Human Resources Director of Greater China Region, Clara had led in the development and implementation of HR programs contributing to the successful attainment of business results. Clara had also worked for the Pacific General Counsel in the area of compliance and was responsible for driving the execution of compliance goals and metrics in alignment with business goals in pacific.
Before joining GE, Clara was the Regional Human Resources Manager of PSEG Asia2. In her capacity as the Asia HR leader, she had effectively developed human resources strategies and processes for new operations in Asia.
Clara also had nine years of experiences with American President Lines3 where she started off as a Management Trainee in Asia Headquarters and subsequently progressed to the role of Regional Human Resources Manager taking charge of the full range HR and quality training activities in support of its businesses in Hong Kong and South China.
Clara is also an experienced trainer and has participated in the design and delivery of many human resources management training. Clara has been invited as guest speaker on management courses in the City University of Hong Kong and has delivered Advanced Diploma program in Human Resources Management run by the School of Continuing Education of Hong Kong Baptist University.
Clara is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
